Late for Work
I was supposed to be at work at 9:00AM. I woke up on time, 7:50AM. I decided to sleep a little longer, maybe 10 or so minutes before preparing for work. I closed my eyes. Upon opening them I checked the time only to realize it was 9:30AM. I ended up getting to work at 11:00AM.
Today
After work I went home, watched Maya make another batch of chili, ate some of it, and then laid on the couch before dozing off. I woke up 1-3 hours later around midnight. I tried sleeping on my bed after that, but it went poorly. So I dawdled on the piano a bit and fiddled around. Now I'm here, wide awake at 6:54AM with almost no sleepiness. It's technically not even the 21st anymore.
Long Winter Break
The winter break lasted longer than usual. It felt like it was the same duration as an entire semester. My guess is that this is due to being more intentional about remembering the days, having many new novel experiences, and being very busy learning how to make a website, write and draw faster, and working.
Upcoming Winter Storm
My Tennis friend Alek told me to be prepared to cancel Tennis plans in case the roads are too icy from the upcoming snow storm. My older sister warned me of potential cancelled classes and frostbite. The upcoming days will be extraordinarily cold.
Mnemonic Image
The most memorable moments today were eating Maya's chili, being warned of the storm, and dawdling in my room, unable to sleep.
My image will be of me in my room, staring at a hole in the ceiling as the winter storm rages. I am covered in chili to keep me warm from the weather.
Each image element corresponds to the following memory:
- In my room - I stayed up extremely late dawdling around, unable to sleep
- Covered in chili - Maya made chili today!
- Gazing at the Winter Storm - Maya warned about the upcoming storm. A friend said we might have to cancel Tennis plans.
